Krit
THE CRITIQUING AGENT FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Better grades, built from your own lecture slides.

Krit asks the questions that turn understanding into original argument. The work stays yours.

What "agent" means here.

Krit is not a chatbot waiting for prompts. It reads your slides and plans the route through them. It chooses how to challenge you: which question, which objection, how hard, without asking you to configure anything. And it remembers how you reason between sessions, so it starts each one where you actually are. What it never does is the work itself: the understanding and the argument are built by you.
A founding cohort of university students starts this September. Their verdict decides the public launch.

Be more critical. Ever been shown how?

Every mark scheme rewards critical argument. Every piece of feedback says go deeper, evaluate, don't just describe. But nobody ever teaches the method. You're expected to somehow already have it.
That gap is where grades are lost. Krit exists to fill it: not by handing you arguments, but by building them with you. The thinking is the point.
So what would it actually take to own an argument?

Climb the ladder with every topic.

Four stages, in order. You cannot skip a rung, because each one is built out of the last.
01
Understanding
Can you explain it in your own words, with the textbook shut?
02
Canonical case
What does the standard example show, and what does it quietly assume?
03
Critique
What do the critics actually say, and which objection survives the evidence?
04
Transfer
Take it somewhere it has never been. What breaks, and what does that tell you?
Underneath: Krit remembers how you reason and where you fold, so every session starts where the last one left off. Every critique points at an exact passage in your material. Nothing free-floating, nothing invented.

How it works

01
Bring your material.
Slides, notes, a reading, a draft. Krit maps the topics from your lecture's own structure.
02
Climb, one question at a time.
Krit asks, you answer in your own words, it adapts to what you already know.
03
Get challenged, not agreed with.
Objections come from your readings and verified sources, cited to the passage.
04
Keep what you built.
Notes, flashcards, and practice exams generated from your own answers, because you wrote the substance.

FAQs

How is this different from ChatGPT or Claude?
They hand you a finished answer, the same one everyone else on your course gets. Krit works the other way: it starts from your exact lecture slides, asks until the argument is yours, and pushes you toward the one thing generic AI cannot give you: an original critique in your own voice. It also remembers how you think between sessions, so the questions get sharper as you do.
Will Krit write my essay?
No, and that is the point. Krit diagnoses your draft against everything you have studied and shows you what is missing or weak, citing exact passages. You write the sentences. That is what keeps the work genuinely yours: the understanding and the argument are built by you, so the originality and the integrity are too.
What can I bring?
Lecture slides, notes, set readings, essay drafts, past-paper answers. Your material decides what gets covered; Krit decides how hard to push.
Which subjects?
Any course where the marks are in the argument. If your exam says discuss, evaluate, or critique, Krit was built for it.
